My name is Lawrie Thom and I've been involved in the real estate industry for over twenty years. I began my career in real estate sales but for the past five years have focused on helping buyers obtain the best mortgage financing for their situation.

I've broken down the entire process of buying a home into five easy steps. Starting with helping you get pre-approved for your financing right through to you getting the keys to your new home on completion. Those steps include:

Step 2: Determine what type of home you are looking for.

Step 3: Finding the right home

Step 4: Making an offer and making sure it is the right one

Step 5: Completing the sale and moving in
